Is there a specific Hex-string that I should be looking at? Or is it more complicated? I've already removed the wall-hacking via hex-editing the. All I want to do is get rid of the enemy icons, nothing else. I know that there are bunch of mods already out there that fix this problem, but they all also seem to do a lot of other things like unlock all weapons, or remove sounds, or remove the minimap/HUD completely. I've done a bunch of searching, and everything that I've been able to find that addresses just this problem is either outdated or doesn't even exist on whatever file-system it was uploaded to. I'd rather locate them from sound cues and such. Not only do they show you where the enemy is (which I suppose I could deal with), but which bloody direction they're facing as well! I would love to be able to turn them off - not the entire minimap (because I do still find it useful), but just the enemy icons. I'm fairly new to Far Cry 3, but already there are a lot of small things about it that are bothering me compared to Far Cry 2 - specifically, it's incessant hand-holding :p I've installed a few mods to try and remedy the situation, but at this point I'm looking for a very small fix to a problem that has been bothering me - the enemy icons on the radar. Hey guys, not sure if this is the proper place to post this, but I had a simple modding question and wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction. If it does not exist, then you're in for a lot of work. If you want to change the skins, they can be found in the \worlds\fc3_main\generated\entitylibrary\weapons\F C3 directory.Ĩ180DE02 -Find out what the variable is for the skin you're looking for. The MuzzleBreak is that thing attached at the end of the AMR sniper you don't want that to conflict with the silencer. On a semi-related note anyone know if there's a mod out there that lets you change the signature weapons like the normal ones? I want to put a silencer on the Ripper, Bull and AMR and get rid of that Gods-awful fire camo that Ubisoft liked so much. but the bullet penetratoin of the AMR is really really nice.

I've dealt with the normal version of the AMR for now because seriously, I won't use anything un-silenced. I know how to unpack the library, but I need to know which lines to change to what and all that jazz.

Would you mind explaining, step-by-step, what you had to do to add the silencer to the AMR? I want to change that to be included in this mod I've got.
